From the Latin lapis angularis, meaning “cornerstone,” this rosary is rooted in the quiet strength of what is firm, enduring, and foundational. Inspired by the idea of the cornerstone, the stone upon which everything else is set, this piece carries a sense of structure and purpose in every detail.
Crafted from natural jasper, each bead is uniquely marked with warm, earth-toned variation, no two alike. The decades are formed from 8mm faceted square natural stone beads, while the 10mm Our Father beads offer a subtle emphasis, guiding the rhythm of prayer with clarity and presence. The square geometry introduces a grounded, almost architectural feel in hand, creating a steady and intentional flow through each decade.
A refined detail emerges at each Our Father: subtle gilt chain links are introduced, gently setting these moments apart. This quiet transition not only enhances the visual balance of the rosary, but invites a pause, a natural shift in rhythm, marking each prayer with greater awareness and intention.
At its center rests a 1" ornate Miraculous Medal, framed with delicate roses and finished in a warm gilt tone, a Marian focal point rich in detail and devotion. Completing the piece is a 2 1/4" Gothic filigree crucifix, beautifully faceted and finished in gold, its intricate craftsmanship reflecting a timeless tradition of sacred art.
Both centerpiece and crucifix are Made in Italy, honoring the heritage of authentic Catholic craftsmanship.
Balanced in weight and form, this rosary is designed not only to be held, but to anchor the soul in prayer, a quiet foundation, built bead by bead.
